Challenge

The Edenbridge project required designing a transitional home that respected the character of its established neighborhood while introducing a bold, modern edge. The team faced the challenge of achieving harmony between traditional architecture and contemporary luxury, with strict attention to symmetry, natural light, and flow. Each structural decision—from the placement of double-height windows to the integration of radiant heating—had to serve both function and aesthetics.

Result

The finished home captures modern elegance and timeless balance. Its façade combines limestone and dark-framed German windows in perfect symmetry, setting a refined tone from the exterior. Inside, open-to-above ceilings and glass railings create airiness, while warm wood, marble, and light play across every surface. The kitchen’s marble island and integrated lighting deliver both style and practicality.

The lower level transforms into a private retreat, complete with a home theatre, gym, and sauna. Thoughtful engineering—like curbless showers and heated surfaces—elevates comfort throughout. Edenbridge stands as a showcase of architectural discipline and refined luxury, bringing contemporary design to one of Toronto’s most prestigious communities.
