Challenge

The client already lived in the same neighborhood and wanted to rebuild on their existing lot to gain more space without leaving the area they loved. The challenge was to create a home that delivered modern comfort and increased square footage while maintaining a timeless street presence that blended naturally with the established surroundings.

Result

The Saybrook Residence brings together balanced proportions and inviting warmth. Its limestone façade and bold black window frames create a striking yet refined curb appeal. Inside, sunlight fills open spaces where clean architectural lines meet soft natural finishes.

The main floor centers around a bright kitchen with a waterfall marble island and custom millwork, connecting seamlessly to spacious living and dining areas. Heated floors throughout the home—extending to the bathrooms and basement—add an element of comfort and practicality. The spa-inspired ensuite, integrated lighting, and wood-accented cabinetry complete a home that feels both elevated and livable.

The Saybrook project reflects NICKS Developments’ signature approach: designing modern homes that feel personal, functional, and enduring.
